July Sketching Adventures

So far this is a very purpley month!

1. What’s on my table - at the beginning of July 2023 - I traditionally share an image and some words.

2. Summer continues with more biking and sketching but this week I share some of the “walk and sketch” results (it’s Jacaranda time!).

3. I continue adding some videos from the archives to my youtube - this week I added:

   1. Time Lapse - Painting a California Sage with watercolors

   2. Split Brush Technique with Gouache

   3. One of my favorite painting techniques - demonstrated with ink on a sketch of Hyacinth

4. My parents left Ukraine and are now refugees in Europe. I continue regular video conversations with them and, of course, draw them too. July 2-9 2003. We talk about some round dates, Dad remembers an old friend and his dog, and Mom is making friends with more cats.
