Mistakes and Conversations

Slowly getting into the groove.

1. I keep saying that I will get a new gouache palette yet I keep using an old metal pencil box. This is one of the cases when it worked just fine - while I painted a tree in a garden - with gouache in my sketchbook.

2. I made a mistake and then corrected it. I also drew a present that was given to me on the same spread.

3. My parents left Ukraine and are now refugees in Europe. I continue regular video conversations with them and, of course, draw them too. August 15-20 - days 538-542 since russia invaded Ukraine.
